Food, Clothing, Furniture, Household Goods
and Vehicles to Any in Need

WHO WE ARE

We are a non-profit 501(C)3 organization that began in 2000 as the food pantry for the Ossipee Valley area which includes Tamworth, Freedom Effingham, Wolfeboro and Tuftonboro. People from Jackson down to Wakefield and into Maine have also been served.

 OUR MISSION
We desire to help any in need with food, clothing, furniture, appliances, household goods and vehicles - at no cost to them. At the same time, we provide a listening ear, and referral services when we can. Our hope is that through our services, those in need will see the love God has for them.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

We regularly serve approximately 300 families per month with an average of 3.2 people per family. Approximately 960 people are served monthly and 11,520 yearly.

In 2004, Agape was able to help 3860 families at a cost to the ministry of $2.70 per family or about $.80 per person. This small amount of monies is achievable because Agape is able to purchase it's supplies from the Manchester Food Bank for $.18/lb when they are available. The supplies need to be picked up in Manchester which adds to the expense due to the high costs of trucking.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Our constant challenge since we opened has been to raise enough money to provide the services needed. Several towns help us each year, along with businesses, churches and individuals. In this way, we can be a ''conduit'' through which we can channel all gifts to those in need. Your donations of money, clothing, furniture, household goods, appliances and vehicles are greatly appreciated!

And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
